Baked Salmon Teriyaki

Ingredients
  • 2 skin on salmon filets
  • tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • For Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes (OR 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce OR BOTH :-))
  • 1 tbsp mirin (OR dry sherry OR rice wine)
  • tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 75 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with a bit of water - for thickening)
  • For Pak Choi / Noodles
  • 2 pak choi
  • 2 servings noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 75 ml vegetable stock
Instructions
    Teriyaki Sauce
  1. Mix ingredients (apart from cornstarch) in a pan and bring to low boil Slowly add the cornstarch, bit by bit, will it thickens to right consistency -- stirring it in all the time
  2. Pak Choi and Noodles
  3. Fry sliced garlic in toasted sesame / veg oil for about a minute Then add pak choi till starts to wilt Add Noodles and stock and boil for 4 / 5 mins till noodles cooked
  4. Baked Salmon
  5. Add Salmon to oven dish Cover with half the teriyaki sauce Leave for 15 - 20 mins to marinade Cook (in air fryer) for 10 mins - longer if using normal over
  6. To Serve
  7. Add Pak Choi and Noodles to bowl Add Salmon Add Spring Onions Pour any remaining teriyaki Top with toasted sesame seeds
